Hong Kong Day 3

260610
The highlights of the day were Yung Kee & Tai Cheong. Went to Central to search for them.

We were unable to get up the shuttle bus coz there were tons of "C" people in front of us! Gonna wait for the next one which was 20 minutes later. Took pictures while waiting...

Tai Cheong egg tarts, something which I will never miss when I go to Hong Kong

My love

Gonna brave through the rain to get to the restaurant

Had a sumptuous meal @ Yung Kee

Farewell @ Timbre

080710
Timbre @Art House
Our dearest Le Yi is leaving the division to join our subsidary company. Good for her, she can finally pursue her passion which is...Finance! Haha, doesn't sound very interesting ya! Nevertheless, that is what she has studied in university and thus, should not let her knowledge goes to waste. Hmm...I am a communications graduate but all my past and present jobs have nothing to with communications...wasted my $48k and 4 years. =P
Food for the day

The calamari and roasted duck pizza are my favourite

Why did Rayner look so emotionless? The ladies seemed so happy

& this was the group across the table:

Where was Le Yi?

Went to get phone no. from the bartender? Oopps...

Curly wee & his weird expression...

-_-

It is pretty annoying to receive sms/calls from friends to ask you to contribute a mutual "friend" birthday pressie, housewarming gift, blah, blah, blah, etc...when the so-called mutual good "friend" doesn't even give a damn to buy/chip in for my pressie, gift, etc...

Not that I wanna be calcutive (though, I do sound like I am), but I don't like to subject myself to such peer pressure of having to please people. I do cherish my friends and am willing to go the extra mile of making them happy by buying them gifts or giving them treats...but I will only do that for friends whom I think are worthy of my time and attention. Not those ah mao, ah gou who don't even give a damn of my life.

Hong Kong Day 2

250610
Hong Kong - Disneyland

Woke up at 6am (so that we can take the earliest shuttle bus at 7am) to go for dim sum before going to Disneyland but to our disappointment, the dim sum restaurant only open at 9am. We were more than an hour early!

We decided to give it a miss and make our way to Disneyland.

Disappointment no. 1: No dim sum
Excitement before disappointment
Yes, we were too early for Disneyland too. The Disneyland in HKG only opens at 10am and the rides are only available at 10.30am!

I have been to so many Disneylands around the world and none of them open so late! OMG, wasted our time lazing at the entrance...
Disappointment No. 2: Waiting time of 1 hour for Disneyland to start operations

Before entering Disneyland

Ok, you should have guess the 3rd disappointment by now...

Disappointment no. 3: HKG Disneyland is miserably small as compared to the rest of the Disneyland around the world

Well, it is also less crowded. We didn't even take a single fastpass coz there wasn't a need to...For those popular rides, the max waiting time was only around 15 - 20 minutes. =)

Only spent half a day in Disneyland, went shopping at Tung Chung after that...
Sighz, the Tough outlet at Tung Chung has moved! Didn't manage to buy the Tough bag. =(

Day 2 purchase

I love my Staccato Shoes!

HSBC Thumbs-down!

I seriously wonder how HSBC managed to score so well for the Gallup Survey. Their contact centre really sucks big time! Called 4 times in June and were told that the staff will call me back within the next few working days...but nobody did! There must be something seriously wrong with their communication process. Come on, this is not the way to treat your customers!
