Treat for the MY folks
The Char Siew is super yummy. I have always been a Char Siew fan and I think I ate about 10 pieces.
Besides the Char Siew, I think black pepper crab is also worth trying. I was quite disppointed with the Claypot rice...I prefer the one which I had tried in Petailing. Sadly, I have no chance to visit the famous Petailing claypot rice store during this trip. I gotta learn from Kelvin how to walk from the office to Petailing so that I can still enjoy my claypot rice if nobody wanna go with me. Damn greedy hor...=P
The playful & greedy guys
Was actually quite cheap given that we ordered so much food
We proceed to Mid-Valley for desserts -Kelvin's treat

Am I a Spendthrift?
I can't believe the I actually spent close to $300 on all these items in less than an hour.
I was telling FK yesterday that I wanna save money for my US trip in summer and now I am spending again! OMG!

偷心大聖PS男
My next Taiwan drama
I am into Episode 5, watching every night at 10pm.
The casts are so handsome and pretty. Woo hoo...

Sneak Preview: Monga
100410
Went for sneak preview of Monga with FK.
Starring Ethan Ruan & Mark Chao, Monga is a Taiwanese gangster film set in 1980s Taipei. An entertaining storyline that weaves together action and drama, Monga is more than just a pure gangster flick. The characters' conflicting emotions is something which I personally enjoy watching. I rate the show 4/5.

The after effect of Skin Renewal facial
Oh anyway, I was quite upset with the consultant for being super pushy in upselling me a $280 facial when I visited them yesterday. I have only done 2 out of the 20 facial sessions which she sold me last month and now she claimed that the type of facial which she promoted to me wasn't that suitable. Isn't that ridiculous?

Indo Food Feast
FK looked so happy! Started eating even before I can take picture of the Gado Gado...greedy man!
Yummy Gado Gado
Do you think that this picture was badly taken? It was taken by FK and though he was supposed to take picture of his food Only, the Gado Gado is also in the picture...
Me with the spread. I love my lunch! BTW, why my face looked so round in this pic? Damn!
Pressies from Doha
I love these Pashmina shawls which FK bought for me. However, I feel really heart pain for him for spending close to $100 for these shawls...Thanks dear, I will cherish them. =)

暗恋 - 黄晓明
First saw this MTV in Batam.
Such a faithful man sacrificing for the lady he loves. Not very possible in the real world but I still hope that someday there will be someone..............
First visit to Batam
On our way to Batam. Excited!
The lovey dovey couple
View from the resort
As the restaurants and massage charges in resort was pretty steep, we decided to take a cab to Nagoya Hill to have our lunch and massage.
Knowing that we would like to have Nasi Padang, the cab driver drove us to a restaurant (though we didn't request) which he claimed that the Nasi Padang was famous and delicious. Truly speaking, I didn't enjoy this meal because I felt that restaurant owner and the cab driver were in cahoots to cheat us. If not for the fact that Wawa can speak Malay and asked them for the price of the dishes before we ate, we could have paid a bomb for the meal!
We were so happy to see A&W when we reached Nagoya Hill. It has been ages since I had their waffle and curry fries. Such a nostalgic feeling as I used to have it every week after church when I was young... I wonder why A&W pulled out of the SG market.
Wawa was trying to be funny
Walking around Nagoya Hil before our massage
Ayam Taluk Goreng
Greedy Wawa and I decided to try it despite the fact we just had our Nasi Padang and A&W
We went to Isabella for 3 hours full body scrub and massage. As we took the couple package, there was free transport around the city and back to our resort. Super good deal! We asked the driver to bring us to the polo shop and to Golden Prawn for our seafood dinner.
Fabulous!
The loving couple was so excited to try the food
My shopping for the day...can't believe I actually bought instant noodles back to SG, so auntified!
We woke up at 7.30am the next day for our breakfast. As the buffet breakfast was a disppointment (or it is because I was being too fussy after staying in Hilton -KL for 3 days before my Batam trip?), I went for a swim after having half a waffle and omelette.
After swim and breakfast, we actually went up to our room to nuah before we went for our foot reflexology session in which Wawa was crying in pain. Hahaha
Our last picture before we checked out
We went for an early dinner at Bei Tong Chuan in Vivocity. Though the steamboat buffet is $19.90++, there are lots of hidden cost. They charge $1 for plain water and $0.30 for a packet of tissue...can't believe it! The seafood was not very fresh. I think only the chicken wings, mango pudding and crackers are worth eating.
Taking a picture before the food was cooked

Kelantan Delight @ Sooka Sentral
The "blue" rice. It tasted like the rice on the nonya kueh (or is it the same?) Slightly hard but still kinda tasty
Tom Yam coconut - A very unique dish which I highly recommended!
